Bill left this morning for Singapore, and tomorrow he flies to Kathmandu in Nepal.
The trip got off to an interesting start. A taxi was scheduled to pick him up at 7 a.m. for the ride to the airport. A few minutes before 7 a car was waiting at the gate, so Bill went out. The driver took his bag, put it in the trunk, and they left. Several minutes later the guardian came to tell me, "the taxi is here to take Pastor to the airport". !!! Sure enough, a "real" taxi was sitting by the gate. Sooooo -- who did my husband drive away with????
Thank goodness for cell phones! He was contacted about the switch-up and then let me know when he got to the airport all right. Whew! That was a few more minutes of uncertainty than I needed early this morning!
His flight to Kathmandu leaves Singapore early tomorrow morning (around dinner time tonight for those of you in the US), so you can be praying for him in this new leg of his exploratory mission.
